Undergraduate Admissions and International Admissions are live but working on issues related to PeopleSoft and to EMAS.
Graduate Admissions is learning from the experiences of Undergraduate Admissions and planning to go live as originally scheduled on October 1.
Financial Aid is addressing issues related to reporting for their upcoming go live date.
Student Records has fourteen conversions as well as numerous other procedures to test.
Portal development continues, changing the focus from the needs of applicants to the needs of currently enrolled students.

The PeopleSoft Implementation team had a difficult weekend and due to issues beyond the control of the UNK campus, Undergraduate Admissions did not go live today as scheduled.

PeopleSoft Project News - August 31, 2009
Undergraduate Admissions is planning the roll out of the online application for admission for Fall 2010 applicants on September 14.
The MyBlue Portal will go live on September 14 for students applying for admission.
Admissions Offices and the ITS Helpdesk are attending training for resetting passwords and answering authentication/security questions.
Financial Aid will go live the first week in October to begin awarding Freshman Scholarships. The final stages of testing are in progress, security is being finalized, and queries will be moved to the production environment.
Student Financials is testing and building internal modules, including tuition/fee calculation, refunds, billing and the late fee process.
Student Records is converting catalog and schedule data and Career Program Plans.

PeopleSoft Project News - August 10, 2009
Admissions will be testing the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions links in the MyBlue portal to prepare for the first go-live on September 14.
A final planning meeting for the conversion of biographical/demographic data is scheduled for Monday, August 10. The go-live date is August 18.
WebFocus training is offered again this week in Lincoln. Two UNK staff are attending, so five people will be as up-to-speed as possible with this new tool.
As of Monday, August 10, the CedarCrestone consultants have transitioned end-user support for application security issues to the Campus Security Coordinators. For UNK, that’s Mitch O’Neill.

PeopleSoft Project News - August 3, 2009
Testing of the online application process by Admissions was derailed last week by issues related to the assignment of the internal identifier called nu-id. They’ll try again this week.
Tim and Janet from Residential and Greek Life are spending Monday and Tuesday with a StarRez consultant. Software is installed on the servers and on some workstations in a training lab. Student Accounts is participating and ITS will be looking at data conversion and interfaces to PeopleSoft.
Graduate Admissions is spending several days with an Image Now consultant working on a pilot document imaging and workflow project.
Three ITS staff members are in Lincoln this week attending WebFocus training.
